Alien Encounter Is Closing

I really think if they put in rotating stools and updated the flick, Timekeeper could be a permanent attraction. CoP should ALWAYS be open....if not just for me. It's a great big, beautiful tomorrow......

Hey, let's build a Horizons II ride there instead. We need a cool dark ride and Horizons II type ride would be perfect for Tomorrow Land.

Am I the only one upset that Alien Encounter is closing? It was one of the best rides at MK! Why would they close it?

I know a lot of people who really enjoyed the psychological thrills of it. I liked it. But something more really needs to be added to Tomorrowland to give it a bit more excitement and WOW factor, IMHO.

Disneydork: You're right, Alien Encounter was one of the best attractions at Disney World. Maybe they wanted an attraction that was more kid friendly. Too bad they had to close it, though.
