Alice on the Tea Cups

When the characters get bored during EMH (especially during the really, really late ones) they come ride Dumbo, several times actually. Mickey and Minnie normally only ride once a night (at a specific time), but the other ones just get bored, pick a kid and go ride Dumbo. It's really cute, except when Donald doesn't really fit.

I REALLY wish they'd bring that back. My friend went and told me all about it. Stitch rode Dumbo, Mary Poppins told stories, Peter Pan and Wendy played duck, duck, goose with the kids. It sounded SO magical!

I heard Snow White was doing that right now in MK.

We've been on the teacups when Alice was riding with someone. One of the most special moments of all our Disney trips was about 7 years ago when my youngest got to ride the carousel with Mary Poppins. It was just a being at the right place at the right time moment. It was wonderful and I teared up. The only sad part was that the rest of the family was at IASW with all cameras and phones!!

It is rare when a character rides an attraction nowadays. My cousin was told that even for a Make-a-Wish child it's pretty tough to pull off. The ones you're most likely to see riding are face characters and ultimately her child got to ride with Aladdin and Jasmine.

It appears though that they have given Alice a little more free reign.

Last summer, I saw Alice on the teacups. Also, Lady Tremaine made a big production of riding the Carrousel.

Didn't they have Star Wars characters out and about riding things on May 4th last year? I seem to remember reading that for LTM.

Last year we got to ride the Magic Carpets with Alladin and Jasmine and then to end the day at MNSSHP, the Mad Hatter asked my daughter if she wanted to ride the tea cups with him. Unfortunately she misunderstood him and said no But still that was two times in one day!!!!

Both of our encounters were completely random. Just lots of pixie dust that day!
