Alice Davis Window Ceremony

Hi.

I will be in DL on May 10. Alice Davis will be receiving her window that day. Anyone know if the ceremony is during park hours and whether anyone can watch?

In the past they've been held outside of park hours, but the most recent one for The Sherman Brothers was held during park hours.

There was a small invited audience seated in front, then anyone else could stand around and watch.

DW was at DL the day of the Sherman Bros ceremony and said she couldn't stand and watch it, that everybody not invited/seated had to keep moving. Can't say what will happen for the Alice Davis ceremony, but don't be too disappointed if you can't watch it.

I'm sure along the sidewalk they kept people moving, but there was some standing room for regular guests.

Many long time Disney employees have been honoured by having their name placed on a window on Main Street. The ceremony is the unveiling of a new honouree.

The guests I know who were invited were told to be there by 8am, so 830am sounds right.
