We are longtime WDW visitors, but have never set foot inside this restaurant. We were wanting to try some different restaurants within WDW on this trip, since we are probably going to get the dining plan.

I called 407-wdw-dine and asked if there was any availability for an ADR in Alfredo di Roma ("I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart."). For some reason, they couldn't give me an ADR for Alfredo's. I can't remember if it was because of a refurb or what. But they said to call back in August or early September to try again. Well, that time is here, but I wasn't sure about this place. The Disney website seems to be completely useless in determining if the place is open or not, and of course they're not going to say a place stinks on that site.

I was hoping to have input/advice on the following:

- Will Alfredo di Roma even be open by early October, when we're going?
- If it is already open, has anyone been there in the last few weeks who could give an opinion on the food/service?
- If it never actually shut down, can anyone give an opinion on food/service there in the last 6 months or so?

Thanks!

Alfredo's is becoming Tutto Italia in September, to be run by completely different ownership. TI is only temporary and a new restaurant will be there in fall 2008. So it's impossible for anyone to know right now if Tutto is going to suck or not in October.
