I'll admit to not have heard her singing but I've never thought she was pretty. She looks too much like her daddy and has his "bug eyes" and that just freaks me out. Kinda like that tori spelling girl with her big ol' bug eyes.

During her awkward years she was a little hard to look at, but hey who isn't?? She's beautiful now! As for her sound, it reminds me a lot of the "Tumbleweed Connection" or "Madman Across the Water" albums by Elton John. I like it!

I went to a taping of 'Ellen' in New York last Novemeber and Billy Joel was the musical guest. His wife and his daughter Alexa were in the audience. That photo does do her justice though I thought she was a pretty girl all the same. Not drop-dead-gorgeous, but pretty.

She's a pretty girl. Her voice is OK, but sounds like she needs a little training or something....it's a little breathy for my taste. I kind of like a powerful voice.

I know someone who goes to school with her (arts program) and her comment was "She can't sing and she's not pretty. She really lost out in the gene pool lottery."

I really like her, she is very pretty.

I like her sound for the most part but would like her to get a little more, I guess control, would be the right word on some parts of her songs. They don't flow as well as they should. IMHO

She is very good though and has a lot of potential!

I have no opinion on her music, I haven't listened to it. As I said, she's certainly prettier than me and I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I'd be interested to hear and see what she's like in person since that's what my aquaintance's quote was based on. Not curious enough to actually fork out any dollars for it though.

With enough professional help (like models get), most anyone can be "pretty" on the outside... I hope she's pretty on the inside. I liked her voice- I'm looking forward to more of her stuff.

She's attractive in a different sort of way. I think if I just saw her and didn't know who she was, I'd probably think she was pretty. It's just that it's hard to look at her and not think "too bad she doesn't look like her mom." CB is exceptionally beautiful though and I sure wouldn't want to use her as the yardstick by which to measure beauty.

Wow, I really like her voice...and I think she is beautiful. I am surprised to hear people say she is lacking in talent. I think this is one girl who will not spend much time behind her fathers shadow. JMO.

(FWIw, I was never a big Billy Joel fan, couldn't really get into his music, sounds almost unAmerican to admit that....LOL. )

I think that Christie is beautiful with or without makeup plus she's holding up extremely well, the lucky... Alexa may not look like her but she looks just fine IMO and it doesn't matter anyway. If Alexa were Alex would anyone think that it's too bad that HE doesn't look like his Mom? That kind of thinking is a shame.

I liked her voice, not loved, but liked. I think she still sounds very young. But her voice will mature and I'm sure I'll like her alot once her voice matures more.

In the pop culture of fake blondes with even faker ****s, I think her look is refreshing and might give her an edge in setting herself apart.

Of course, her father's fame will open some doors, but she's going about it the right way if she wants those doors to stay open. I think she needs to put in those years of hard work in order to be successful in the long term.

If her singing career doesn't flourish, I bet she'll have success in writing lyrics for other's to sing. That's just as important imho.

I think Christie Brinckley is pretty, but hardly gorgeous. In fact, I like Alexa's look better. She's more exotic.

Kinda like, Ingrid Bergman was lovely but Isabella Rosselini is beyond words, drop dead, perfect. (not that Christie could hope to compare to Bergman or Alexa to Isabella)
