I have been thinking about the server load problem and have a thought. I used to be a tech coordinator at a school and we had trouble with our servers all the time. What if you turned off all the smilies and graphics for a period of time? As I am sure you know, graphics place a huge load on a server and shuting them off and then possibly defragging the server may help. I am sure you have thought of and done these things already, but I thought I would throw my two cents in!
