We have a new Aldis and I went there for the 1st time today. It was very clean, but quite small - 5 short aisles and one of them was filled 1/2 way with patio stuff. There were some good bargains on produce. Bananas were $.24 a pound, Strawberries $1.49, European Cucumbers $.99 (but a lot of them were pretty sad looking). Eggs were $.95, yogurt tubes $1.99, graham crackers $1.29. There were some name brand items mixed in.
But there are a lot of items I could not get (no HE detergent, juice boxes, powerade with no sugar, etc.) - just not enough selection. I HATE grocery shopping, so to have to go to Aldis, plus my grocery store is just not going to happen. We don't have Wegman's and our Walmarts are not Super-Walmarts, so I will stick to the grocery store, CVS for toiletries, and Costco a couple of times per month. I definitely would not drive 45 minutes to go there.
