Cruising this Friday on the Wish! Are only Beer and Wine allowed? Can you bring the canned Vodka Soda pre-made drinks, or the hard ciders?
And is it still one bottle of wine or one 6 pack per adult guest?

What about bringing our own water? Say 4-6 bottles.

Thanks.

Enjoy your cruise! I hope you get your answers soon I know it's silly but make sure they're on your carry on as well...I mistakenly put the items in my checked and they were obviously taken.

DCL's alcohol policy:
Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage.
Guests wishing to consume wine or champagne that they have brought on board in one of the dining rooms will be charged a corking fee of $26.00 per bottle.
Please note:
  • Alcohol packed in checked luggage will be removed and not returned and no compensation will be offered.
  • All alcohol brought onboard must be in an original unopened container. Partially used bottles and those in which the seal is broken are prohibited.
  • Any wine or champagne in excess of 2 bottles or beer in excess of 6 beers is prohibited and must be discarded prior to entry and no compensation offered.
  • Liquors or spirits or excess wine and beer purchased in ports of call will be stored until the end of the cruise.
  • Guests MUST retrieve stored alcohol at the end of the cruise. Items not retrieved will be discarded and no compensation will be offered.
  • Alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area.
Please note that the Disney Cruise Line alcohol policy is subject to change without notice.

You may bring unlimited water or non-alcoholic beverages, but it must be in your carry-on.

I remember the old days when you could bring whatever you wanted. Guest would bring cases of beer and hard liquor. I never needed all that but I really like those Flavored Vodka soda in the can. And it would save me a little $$ on my bar bills. But that’s okay.

Oh and can you bring water? No mention in the DCL a material.

Yes you bring water or even soda onboard if you want but it must be in your carry on bags. A wheeled duffle or suitcase is easiest.

As lanejudy mentioned above, you can carry on unlimited amounts of water and other non-alcoholic beverages, but beverages are not permitted in checked luggage.

Yes, you can bring any non alcoholic liquid (water, soda, etc) you want, but needs to be in carry on vs checked luggage.

Most likely the person checking will just assume it is beer so you'll be fine..worst case try it and if they say something play it off as an honest mistake and let them hold it until the end of the cruise. You can take all the water you can carry onto the ship.

It has the same alcohol content as beer, so it should be fine.

let them hold it until the end of the cruise.
Confiscated alcoholic beverages are not held, they are destroyed (dumped). If OP will have a vehicle parked in the garage, they can return it to their car. If not it may be a gamble.

How about the case if you are on a B2B cruise and you did not drive to the port? Will you be allowed to carry on your allotted amount for both cruises when you embark on the first day?

I've see reports where the allotment for the first cruise would be allowed, and they would hold the allotment for the second cruise, for you to pick up on debarkation day from the first cruise.

DCL’s policy is not based on equivalents. It is spelled out beer or wine. How tightly security sticks to that is dependent on the personnel you encounter.

Hard seltzer is legally classified as a flavored malt beverage (FMB), which is within the broader beer category according to the U.S.
And that is consistent with what DISers have reported they were told when they boarded the ships.

So people are reporting seltzers are allowed?
