My family and I are splurging and getting the deluxe dining plan for our December vacation. With 2 teenagers (17 and 13) this may turn out to be a deal based on how they eat. My question is, they get a specialty drink with every meal and I get an alcohol containing drink, would I be able to use their drinks to get an extra alcohol drink or two even if they are under the age of 21? Instead of them getting a specialty drink for themselves. Thanks!

Nope. Only those 21 and older can get the alcoholic drink. There is no switching an under-21 year old's non-alcoholic drink to an alcoholic one.

Now, if you were doing quick service, you could send the under-21 to get seats and check out twice to get alcoholic drinks.

Maybe with pixie dust. I had two beers with dinner, husband had 1 alcoholic drink, 3 kids had soda. Server charged soda oop and included adult drinks with DDP.
