Alcohol in the Magic Kingdom

There is no need not to sell alcohol at MK, only a want.

Yes there is, the NEED not to risk of taking some of the magic away. There is no reason to have alcohol in the MK . There areany many others places outside the park to those who want to drink can.

But there is already alcohol being sold at MK inside Be Our Guest.. so the "keep Magic Kingdom alcohol free" ship has already sailed..

That ship can be sailed back by removing the alcohol . I would love to see that. No it is.not.likely, but I really am starting to see hints that the sales.of.drinks in BOG is lagging. If not they would have put alcohol in the new Skippers Canteen.....
I HOPE SO ANYWAY.

Um ok. :rotfl:

MK isn't dry. They just don't sell it. Until they start sniffing water bottles for vodka or rum there is alcohol in the MK. They just aren't making any money off it.

I don't see how serving alcohol = lack of magic. They could always keep it just to the table service restaurants. That way there would be very little worry about someone over-indulging, and you wouldn't see guests walking around with drinks in their hands.

Actually Epoct is not even close to the Magic Kingdom. If you have been in Epcot during f and W and many ween end nights you would see the drunks and problems with the amount of alcohol .

I don't see any poems with the AK or HS.

However for all the resins I have mentioneded before there just is not need to have alcohol in the MK. There are a hundred other places to enjoy a drink. My wife and I do.

Keeping the MK specail andmagical as it is , not to mention WALT'S original wishes, areore then enough reasons to keep alcohol out of the M K.

Please if you need or want a frinks, go enjoy them outside the MK. We do as well.

I did mention earlier that I have spent many weekend nights in Epcot during F&W and have never seen these "Epcot Drunks."

No "ween end" nights, though, I'm afraid. Those are a little extreme for my taste. :rotfl:

If alcohol sales are lagging at BOG, it means that people are drinking responsibly. Therefore, I see no problem, in allowing it at other MK TS restaurants.

It's really no big deal to me. I don't recall seeing drunks anywhere at any of the parks. I can count on one hand the number of times I've ordered a drink in a WDW restaurant. I would feel differently if I did see a lot of drunks stumbling around, but I think the drink prices are high enough to discourage all but those most determined to get drunk. I was surprised, however, at HS over Christmas. There must have been a dozen full bars set up at various places outside with somewhat reasonable prices for mixed drinks. Still, I didn't see anyone drunk.
