Yes, but it's limited to beer & wine only (no spirits, like vodka, rum, whiskey, etc).

thank you. for quickservice too or just table service?

Only at dinner (table service), and only inside the restaurant (you can't carry it out with you).

is it true be our guest serves alcohol?

1) Alas, yes it is true.
2) By the way, the wind in MK is due to the breeze caused by Walt and Roy spinning in their graves.

NOTE Of course, Lasseter is not concerned, because much of the wine sold
at BoG comes from HIS winery (or supplied through his distributorship).

I really don't think OP was looking for your judgmental opinion when they posed this question.

I didn't think it judgmental--I found it rather funny.

We all know the history behind the no alcohol policy at the MK and how many folks are still upset about this.

And most likely Walt and Roy wouldn't like it either.

BUt there it is!!!

I never understood all the fuss or controversy when almost all the Magic Kingdom resorts' restaurants serve liquor, like the Contemporary is within walking distance of the Castle and they serve liquor at some of their restaurants and is also easily accessible from the monorail, also located right near the park. Like, is the fear that children could easily get alcohol if it's served in the park? Nobody fears for them getting it as any of the resorts they're staying at then that are close to the park.

Is the fear that what? the parents are going to get too drunk to be responsible parents if they drink in Magic Kingdom? And again nobody has this fear in all the other parks and resorts at Disney.

It's not like people are going to Disney World TO drink anyway.

I think it was one of those time honored traditions that die hard.

I would say that there are probably more SMALL children at the MK than the other parks, so I doubt they would want folks strolling about with cups of beer or wine in their hands like you find at EPCOT.

But in the restaurant itself--I see no problem.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this but here goes...I would actually enjoy going to MK if I had the option to have a beer or 2 whilst at the park. Not saying I want to get drunk just saying it would be easier to do with some of the people that are there (bad children and irresponsible parents) and would give me an actual reason to go and stay past 1 ride or the parade.

and now come the posts from people who think there shouldn't be booze at any of the other parks either.

Totally agree! In Disneyland, the California side there is a great restaurant and winery.

Yep me too. I think the last time we spent a whole day in MK was when I took my nieces The next time we take my nieces and soon to be nephew will probably be the next time as well. But to each his/her own.

And once again there is no way for anyone to know this. Opinions and business practices can certainly change over the decades since Walt dies.

They are indeed spinning in there graves.........no need for alcohol in the MK!

There is no question that Walt did not want alcohol in the MK........ever, he repeated this himself, many times. He wanted to keep the family feel.

There are plenty of places for people to enjoy a drink in WDW, no need to have to include it in the MK.
