It's been a long time since my last Disney cruise. My last trip I had a case of beer and a Bottle of Captain Morgan in my luggage. I am assuming you can no longer bring alcohol other then the wine or 6 beers.

So, if it’s wine OR beer, what about 1 bottle wine and 3 beers? Any option to mix it?

…and you do get that allowance per person >21y in the cabin. It doesn’t have to be consumed by them.

No mix and match, 1 person = 2 wine OR 6 beers

Yes per person so 2 people in a room, person 1 brings 2 bottle of wine, person 2 brings 6 beers. Also you can do the same at every port. So in theory

Embarkation Day
Person 1 = 2 bottles of wine
Person 2 = 6 beers

Port Stop 1
Person 1 = 2 bottles of wine
Person 2 = 6 beers

Port Stop 2
Person 1 = 2 bottles of wine
Person 2 = 6 beers

Port Stop 3
Person 1 = 2 bottles of wine
Person 2 = 6 beers

etc etc, depending on length of cruise and number of port stops

I know alcohol has to be in your carry on, but do you have to take it out and show it to anyone at embarkation? Another cruise line required this, and I am just wondering how easily accessible it needs to be in my bag. Thank you.

They were also asking everyone to present the alcohol for inspection when we sailed out of NOLA back in January/February so there may be some port specific exceptions but generally Port Canaveral, Everglades and Miami don't unless there is some specific reason.

I have never had to pull it out but if anything looks out of place they may ask you to after your bag goes through the xray machine.

This. And most liquor bottles look different to wine bottles.

Anyone know if the bottle of wine brought onboard or the Platinum gift bottle of sparkling wine can be taken to Palo’s?? Corkage fee??

Their is a corkage fee for bottles of wine you bring onboard. I think it was $25 when I last checked, but that was quite some time ago, so it may have increased. The Platinum/Pearl bottle of sparkling wine can be drunk in the MDR or at Palo without an extra fee. I have arranged to have it delivered there when contacting room service to choose the Platinum/Pearl gift.

You can also take "wine" Irish Liquor. In Washington state we have a large tax on liquor but wine does not have it. I brought a bottle of Irish Liquor that was clearly labeled as wine on my Alaskan cruise. no issues. Loved adding a little to my coffee in the morning as I watched glaciers go by.
