Albertson's grocery bonus card

Has anyone gotten a bonus card/frequent shoppers card (whatever they call them at Albertson's ) during their quick stop between the airport and the hotel? I'm using Happy Limo and faxing my grocery request to the store in advance, so theoretically all I would have to do is go in and pay for them. But I was wondering if I crazy to think that I should get a bonus card while I am there to get that weeks discounts on my items. Any thoughts?

They gave us one, but didn't require that we fill out an info since we don't have Albertsons around home. It was very quick. We thought it was worth it for the savings that we got for that one trip.

Yes, I would say it is worth it. We have Albertson's in Montana. The ONLY way you get the sale prices is by using the card. It is free and they don't give out your personal info....you could throw the card away when you are finished with it, if you wanted to. (But, I would recommende putting it away for future travels.) Some Albertson's have gas stations and the card gets you a discount there, too. Free is worth the savings.

I got one while on my grocery stop with Happy Limo, the cashier had the forms, it literally took me 30 seconds to fill out the form and about the same for the cashier to enter it . I did save $$$ and saving $$$ is saving$$$ I have it put away with next years reservation reciepts!!!

Albertson's in AZ has a box to check on the form that says, just give me the card I don't want you to have my information. I'm guessing it is standard across the chain. Check that and they should give you a card real quick.
