Albany, GA Snickers Energy Bar Marathon

Anyone run this race before? DH is headed down to run the half in 3 weeks. The website says 'fast and flat' but when he did an elevation profile it looked somewhat hilly. Any firsthand accounts of the course?

Ran the half last year, and although not pancake flat, it's very scenic after the first few miles, a lot of residential areas and tree lined streets. Also a fun downhill to a long straightaway finish. Plenty of turns and mini-undulations to keep it interesting. Stayed right down the street at an econo lodge or something was perfectly suitable given the bargain, then walked over to the host hotel and snuck some of their continental breakfast pre-race. Was planning to do it again but the LA Marathon came a callin... The next day down in Seaside, FL is another half if you feel like doubling up...
