We were able to book this yesterday for our late July cruise!

We were able to book it today for our July 4 sailing! I think it was recently added (or someone recently cancelled)

I also heard they may be trying to add additional capacity, maybe they found someone.

This is very helpful! We booked dog sledding and helicopter to a glacier in Skagway through an outside company and plan to book excursions in Ketchikan through an outside vendor. The one hour after arrival advice is very useful.

We booked through Alaska Shore Excursions for Dogsledding in Skagway. We haven't gone yet as we don't sail until June 20, so I can't give a review, but booking through the website was easy.

Are you looking specially for helicopter and dog sledding? Temsco Helicopters is literally across from where the ship docks. It's also who DCL booked our tour through on our Alaskian cruise. Plenty of people on our tour that were not from our cruise. We did a helicopter to a glacier and walk about tour and loved it. They also offer a dog sled tour.
