Alaska pre night transfers

HI! has anyone done the pre cruise transfers airport--> hotel --> terminal? How did it work? What kind of vehicle was provided? Did you take your luggage or did Disney pick it up as with Magical Express? Do you need a carseat? Ugh so many questions

From my understanding, the precruise hotel is located across the street from the Pan Pacific, which is located on top of the terminal. DCL was refunding the cost of the transfers since there was no need for any actual transportation. The bell desk took your luggage and delivered it to the ship for you. We called the Pan's bell desk the morning of our cruise around 7:30 and they picked up our luggage from our room and delivered it to the terminal also. I booked that through Hotwire at a great rate!

We did the pre-stay for our Aug 9th cruise. We were taken from the airport to the Fairmont Waterfront (right across the street from the cruise terminal) in a white s-t-r-e-t-c-h limo on Monday morning, because the buses only run on the day of the cruise. After the cruise we took a regular bus to the airport with the rest of the commoners.

Staying at the Fairmont was super convenient, it's a lovely 5 star hotel and is very close to Gastown, Chinatown, the mall, etc. We walked everywhere. Air Canada lost one of our suitcases, and I truly beleive it was the DCL rep (located right in the hotel) who got it back for us, as we were having no luck with the airline.

Another nice feature was that on the morning of the cruise we just walked across the street with our day bags. You leave the luggage in your hotel room and it magically appears in your stateroom. We were very pleased with this package and would absolutely do it again.
