Hi All,
I too shall be sitting anxiously by my keyboard and preparing to refresh repeatedly to get my booking on
. I am going to book our excursion outside of DCL but am hoping for Palo.
As for FE stuff... I agree, the more the merrier and since I don't think we will be comparing notes to see who got what specifically I am inclined to say that if we want to let the list run till about two weeks before or so that would be fine by me. It is supposed to be fun and a way to share the joy, spirit and excitement of this special experience and telling someone that they found us too late and thus are shut out doesn't seem very "Disney" to me.
Also, for those of us who are sailing guarantee, we may not know our cabin numbers until pretty late in the game. I don't know if that will be a factor but it will make prepping some things challenging. And speaking as one of those who is sailing guarantee, I apologize in advance for any difficulties this may cause.
Oh, and Moot Moot, (I just saw that you are in Olympia, WA. That is where my oldest DSS, his new bride and my two grandkids live. So if you run into Scott, Susan, Catherine and Justin, tell them that I said hi I am traveling with a big group too so I understand your desire to not overwhelm folks. I am just glad you are playing along and look forward to being allowed to share my joy at being able to have this amazing experience with all the families that I have gotten to know here on the boards.
I, personally would like to know the age and gender breakdown of your group (you don't have to get specific on the ages except for the under 16 crowd since I am considering anyone over that age a grownup). I have been busily at work on some items since last year and really want to make sure that they are distributed and enjoyed by as many folks as possible.
Are we still doing a meet up on the ship? I haven't heard anything else about the possibility of a brunch in Palo or other plans as of yet. I hope we can have a get together on of the days.
Woo Hoo! I just looked at the clock and it is only 6 hours and 22 minutes until I can try for bookings... Do you think it is too early to log on?
Now I must get back to my video editing or I will never get this project done in time.
... Now it is only 6 hours and 19 minutes... Wow time sure flies when you are watching the clock like a hawk doesn't it?
