Alaska on July 19th, 2011 "Where a good tan is hard to find"

Hi!

i think you popped off when I popped on so we missed each other on the chat. I had to wait until I finished feeding the DH before I could get to the REALLY important things like a DIS chat :rotfl:

We can try again if you are still around.

TTFN,

Tisza

Lol...I had to DL AIM in. Order to get chat on my iPad...so am able to chat....for me the DIS always comes before feeding DH...he can feed himself :lmao:

He is on a diet and gets back at 7:30 from Boxing so he feeds himself lean cuisines.....I told him his life would be over if we had to pay extra for him to get on the Hellicopter because he likes his Ding Dongs :rotfl:...well I'm the one really that likes the ding dongs but he is the one that is to fat....

He is doing good...:thumbsup2

Got done with my ladies small group in my home tonight. Tried to check if anyone here was doing the "chat tonight" & didn't find anyone on. Did it not work again?

We got our docs 2 days ago but our Aulani print came last week. In fact, I just framed it. It's cute but I would have preferred it to represent Aulani more.

I enjoyed it too! A good time was had by all and I found out about a new app formy iPad too. Life is good!

Tom, what do you think of Scan to PDF?

Tisza

This makes no sense to me whatsoever. When your hometown team loses a major game like this why would you want to hurt & destroy other people & things that are in your hometown too? :confused3 I just don't get it. :sad2:

At least by the time we get to Vancouver everything should be back to normal. Although if any of you are a Boston Bruins fan I'd advise you to leave your jersey at home.

I saw that too...my DH said he better not wear a Boston shirt there :rotfl2:

Well I wouldn't wear a Boston jersey any time of year in Vancouver! However, on most days you won't get much more than light teasing.
The riots were, for the most part, not something Canucks fans took part in. All my friends that were hockey fans and were there did not take part in the violence. Facebook and twitter were ablaze with calls for people to come home, calm down, and grow up. Some idiots knew about the 1994 Stanley Cup riots and were excited to recreate them. They weren't, generally speaking, fans. They were hooligans.
Trust me, you guys would not have wanted to be down there last night, but either would have I! However, you will be totaly safe when you come up to Canada. The police and fire deparment have taken control of the situation. Please do not let the actions of a few irresponsible jerks ruin your perception of Vancouver! It is a beautiful city and what happened last night is not representative of the general population that is normally very kind and welcoming. What happened last night was a very extreme, rare, and ridiculous situation! Just look at the Olympics last year, that was a great time!

Thank you for the update, Larissa! :thumbsup2

Thanks for hat info...have been to busy to pay attention to the news....

I think we're about 20% done with our elaborte FEs. We shouldn't have insisted on doing 1 for everyone in our group. I guess we're lucky now that 2 cabins moved their cruise (which is coming up this Tuesday).
