Ok, made a couple door magnets over the weekend, but the majority will be re-used from previous cruises. Check one more thing off the To Do List. :)

Has anyone seen any recent navigators posted in other Meet threads from more recent cruises? I haven't seen any since May.

Thanks!

No, I was wondering the same thing. I wonder how much if any things have changed since May with the Alaska sailings.

Just passing on some information from my friend lisa, who is on the Wonder right now.

I also found out yesterday they didn't go through Tracy Arm because of visibility.

Thanks for the info. Is your friend blogging live?

No Kimberly she isn't. She was on FB Sunday from Ketchikan. I think they are staying in Vancouver tonight and flying home tomorrow, so if anyone has any questions I'll be happy to find out for you.

I do know they got into Ketchikan earlier than they were told, but I had read somewhere that the Wonder was trying to get there earlier for the rest of the sailings. Which would be really nice:) It was also semi-formal night with early seating at 6pm instead of 5:45pm.---I guess they moved 2nd seating back 15 minutes also.:confused3

Pirate night was blah. No costumes or parade in the dining room. We skipped the party. It has been hard with it still being light outside at 9:30 and the time change for us. They had the party outside this week but it was freezing!

Thanks for the update Paula! Sounds like I am safe packing those sweatshirts. ;)

Paula, thanks for the info from your friend. I have to say that would be a major bummer if we missed out on Tracy Arm. Also thanks for keeping the list for us!
Poohj80, I was wondering about recent navigators too. Most of the ones I have seen were the first few sailings. I'll keep an eye on your thread. :)

:banana::banana:Yeah Tracey!!!! :banana::banana:

I thought we had all received them:)

Melissa, she said where they sailed was beautiful! I was glad to know that DCL had a backup plan in place for bad visibility.:)

I feel bad saying it but I am glad someone said they were freezing, looking forward to colder weather. :woohoo:

Finally decided I will bring boots for our trek on the glacier, sure to get second looks on the plane. :clown:

I hear ya there, I am looking forward to cool!:cool1:

I thought it was strange that I wasn't getting updates for this thread. Then this weekend I realized that it was because I hadn't yet posted in it. Oops! Don't worry, I'm not looking to join the FE. :)

I'll be sailing with some friends and am looking forward to returning to the Wonder. I took her through the Panama Canal in January, then from LA to Vancouver in April, and now I can't wait to see Alaska!

My friends opted for pre-cruise time in Vancouver, but I've decided to be the independent traveler and will be spending a couple of days in Portland and then Seattle before the cruise instead. Portland - Seattle will be on the Coast Starlight and Seattle - Vancouver will be Tuesday morning day of the cruise on the Amtrak Cascades.

For excursions, I booked everything through DCL -- Best of Skagway; Adult-Only Hatchery, Glacier, Salmon Bake; and the Bear Country & Wildlife Expedition. I'm hoping for weather on the warmer end of the spectrum, but will pack the fleeces and layers just in case.
