S/O: Doxxing - could you get 'doxxed'?

Okay. Not familiar with Venmo. Other than they don't do business in Canada. Someone on my upcoming cruise to Canada wanted to tip tour guides with Venmo instead of cash.

Venmo can be viewed by anyone, at least that’s what I just read.

It depends on your settings. You can set most things to private and then it won't show up. But yes, on Venmo you can see who's sending money to whom (if they have their settings that way). I don't think you can ever see dollar amounts (if you're not involved in the transaction), at least not now (maybe you used to be able to).
