"To inaugurate the new service, Alaska is offering introductory one-way fares of $99 for Portland-Boston and Portland-Orlando flights. Customers must purchase their tickets by Feb. 8, 2007, and travel by Dec. 14, 2007. The airline also is offering Double Miles for Mileage Plan members who travel by Oct. 31, 2007."

I have two trips to Orlando this year and I paid $450+ each because I'm flying out of through Seattle - both trips are before September. Anyhow, this is the official notice from Alaska, the cheap prices must be booked by 2/8/2007. Also if you are a mileage plan member, you'll earn double miles!!!

Wish I could have gotten my flights for this price....

Only1Mouse...Where did you get that info from? I just checked the Alaska site and can't find any mention of it anywhere...at least where I was looking. I havent' purchased yet...BUT I'd love to get in on that deal I really don't think I'll find better than that ANYWHERE Quick!!!...tell me where. Pleeese

If you scroll down you'll frind the release that talks about the new service from Portland to Boston and Orlando. It was released on 1/5/2007.

It is a great deal!!! Wish they were offering it earlier in the year... Let me know if you need anything else.

I will...For sure I can't wait to tell everyone in our group about the $99 deal. I guess if we have to do the $107 and $109 each way...that'll be allright

I'm just sooooo excited about the whole direct flights for such a good deal...I want to book NOW. But I sent in a request yesterday for a 'group' flight and now I have to wait for their responce before I can jump on either deal. They should be getting back to me by tomarrow since it's been two days since I sent in the request.

Wow, Alaska Air going to the southeast?! How cool! I do remember wanting the Disney Alaska plane when we flew them to Seattle for our Alaska cruise. Good for them!!

We did it!!! We booked our flights... Out of Portland direct to Orlando for only $217 pp. I'm soooo excited. I NEVER thought I'd find airfare this early and if it wasn't for the DIS I would have totally missed this deal, because I wasn't even going to start looking for flights for another two(+) months.

Only kink we found was the flight home. The "best" $ flight home leaves at 7am from Orlando....SO we're going to have to spend a night in Orlando after getting off the ship Saturday and fly out EARLY Sunday. Oh well....One more day on vacation.
