First time cruiser. Do we need to bring our own alarm clocks? What hygiene items are provided in the bathroom? Thank you!

And if there are alarm clocks, will the room attendant adjust the time when we change time zones?

There have historically been clocks in the staterooms. They often have a usb oujtlet attached for your devices to plug into. You can certainly ask the room host to assist in setting the clock.
For hygene products, they provide you H2O products for hair (shampoo and conditioner) and lotion. You wil also find H2O body wash products. Each room will also have a hair dryer.

The room attendant will change your cabins clock, they also leave a note saying it has been changed. I believe the clocks have alarms on them, but haven't tried to use it. Instead call for a wake up call, Micke Mouse will call you with a message to wake up. My dd loves it. They supply shampoo and conditioner and possibly body wash. Not individual bottles though, large pumps used by all. I always bring a small bottle of hand soap for use by the sink. In the past they gave a small bar of hand soap for the sink, but have heard mixed reports about whether they still do this. Use the hairdryer in the desk drawer, the one attached to the bathroom wall(Magic and Wonder only) are HORRIBLE!

Our last cruise was 2016 and I think they still had clocks at that time but since I use my iPad as an alarm clock, I don't recall completely. I do recall from prior cruises that the stateroom attendant did change the clocks, though. Given that WDW has taken clocks out of their hotel rooms, it's entirely possible that they've removed them now. I would consider bringing a backup in case - either use a smartphone or bring a travel alarm clock.

We've cruised 3 times since 2016, the last time was earlier this year. They still had the clocks in the cabin. If they remove them it will be posted by someone here. I haven't been to WDW in a long time, that's awful that they are removing clocks. I hope they don't remove them from the ships.

Considering they have over 30,000 hotel rooms at WDW, even with a $10 clock in each room, removing the clocks made financial sense. Most people just use a cell phone anyway.

In June onboard the Magic I had success asking for an extra bar of soap for the other sink (we had a bar of soap for one sink but not both)

Just returned home 2 weeks ago on The Fantasy. Yes there are clocks in the cabin and yes the room host changes the clock for you. We had the times change which going to the western Caribbean

Just use your phone. Alarm clocks are obsolete.

Not always. My family doesn't carry devices on vacation; we bring one for travel emergencies and information, and that one goes in the safe whenever we get where we're going. We spend enough screen time every day for work that we unplug as much as possible when we're off.

As a PP indicated, you can order a wake up call using your stateroom phone, and Mickey Mouse will call you with a message at the appointed time. So you aren't dependent on using your own device as an alarm clock.

Nice way to respond to the OP's question. :sad2: He/she was asking for basic information, not a value judgment.

Just because you no longer use a device, doesn't mean that others don't. Alarm clocks are still being produced and sold and are used by many people, including those who don't want to have to feel "connected" to their own electronic devices 24/7 while on a cruise vacation.

We are just off the WBTA, and when there was a time change, there was a note by the alarm clock saying that your host or hostess would be changing the time when preparing the room for sleep.
