Alamo's online checkin

Was anyone able to do online check in using the walmart codes? We got an excellent price on a Mid size suv(114.61/wk) for our upcoming trip in August. We are not using a coupon, but i seen on mousesavers that it may not be available with some discounts. Has anyone had luck with this? I would love to bypass the counter. We will be arriving later in the evening at 9pm and i know the counters probably won't be busy, but want to pass up on the whole insurance spiel. TYIA

The midsize SUV is not available for online checkin. Your best bet would be to join the *********** program (the link is on the mousesavers page) and go from there. When we arrived, they didn't even have me stop in the garage. Just went to the car and then to the gate and checked out there. I was using a midsize SUV and a coupon as well.

We used the Walmart code with online check in at the beginning of July with no problem. We had a standard SUV. I'm not sure if online check in is available with a midsize SUV.

Did you have the quick silver number on your ressie when you made it? Or did you add it to the ressie after?

We used the online checkin with the Walmart code for our rental June 30th to July 15th. We had a full size car though, I do not know if SUV's are different. We did not have any problems until after we returned the car. We were in a rush leaving out of the airport, so I didn't look at my reciept. I looked at it when I got home. Thank Goodness I did. They had charged me for an additional driver 120 more dollars, which was suppossed to be free with the Walmart code. I called them though and they immediatly corrected it. They refunded it to my credit card within the next day.

I honestly made SO many reservations that I don't remember exactly what order I did this in but I think I just modified my existing reservation to add the number.

How does this online check in work?

I inquired about the quick silver and they said you still had to get in line (although a different line) and if you made the reservations before signing up for quick silver you'd have to cancel & rebook....???

Any pro's out there that can help?

Is it Quick Silver that shows up as *********** ? Weird it is ok as 2 words.

I am not sure about the ressie after joining, from what I can tell, you cant add the SQ# after so that may be true. The counter for QS is in the garage and should be not wait from what I am told.
