I am holding a reservation for a mini van at Dollar for $426 total. Alamo gives it to me for $341. This if for 10 days. Which is the better car rental company. Should I go with Alamo and save $85? Please let me know what you think. Thanks

Here's what I got from Alamo when I used RentalCars.com.

Your Rental Car Reservation Rental Partner: Alamo Rent A Car
Car Type: Mini Van (Unlimited Mileage)

Summary of Charges
Note: Your credit card will not be charged until you pick up your car
Weekly Rate (1 x $180.81): $180.81

Extra Day Rate (3 x $29.64): $88.92

Estimated Total Charges: $341.88

I am far from an expert (I am new to this) but, I can tell you that Alamo and National are the offical rental companies for Disney World. Did you try going directly to the Alamo web site using the discount codes from mousesavers.com? I saved quite a few bucks for my reservation on April just by using the discount codes. I recommend checking it out.

I almost allways rent from Dollar, but I'd take Alamo in a heartbeat if they were $85 (or even $25) cheaper. Very similar companies.

I agree. They are both in-terminal so you might as well go for the lower price.

I would go with Alamo. Get a code from mousesavers, use the $15 coupon on the Alamo site, and see if you can get your rate even lower.
