Does anyone have any experience with this? I just signed up and it looks great. Just go to your car and drive away showing only your reservation, CC, and license. Hope it works ok
Occasionally, there will be a coupon I use with my Alamo rental that will not allow me to go straight to the garage and pick out a car. Even then, I just use the Kiosk inside the airport to check in . . . only takes a few extra minutes. I only look at Alamo now because of the ease of picking up the car; used to love National, but they have been too expensive for a long time.Go into your profile and fill out all the information. One thing we do not add is our SWA Rapid Rewards #...they add a service fee if you try to get points by renting with Alamo which is our preferred choice. Just an FYI. We go right out to car...pick what we want and go.How do I sign up for this? I'm already an Insider.
We are National Emerald club members, but some Alamo rates seem better so we're thinking about going with Alamo. Does Alamo offer any incentives like free days after so many rentals like National does?
The fee is very small, I think it was like $0.74 on our last rental, worth the cost for the points IMHOGo into your profile and fill out all the information. Just before you leave home, use the online check-in. This is where you will enter credit card info, add your extra driver, etc.So just made my first reservation with Alamo (usually use National). I didn't have to provide any credit card information for the reservation. Is this normal? I want to be able to skip the counter like I do with National, but not sure exactly how this works. I've filled out my profile to 100% like was noted above. Is that it? Or do I need to use the online check-in in order to skip the counter? TIA
