I just saved another 30 bucks for my Aug rental :cool1:

Good for you!
They seemed to have crept up a bit for October for intermediates and up:eek:
(October's rates are outrageous enough as it is!)

my rates have been going down by a few dollars each day. i have also saved $30 on my aug 16-22 rental. i have a costco code and coupon. i believe w/costco i get a % of the rates so the aug rates must be dropping- maybe because it is starting to be "last minute"

I've been trying this am to get my rate cheaper from when I booked it in feb., just can't - I am so frustrated.

Me too because I cant get the rates to drop to what others have posted. I guess I might be waiting until the day before we leave!

My Alamo minivan has not droppped at all, it is way up. Glad I booked in March. It was weird to be able to book the car so early, but I like to do that.

We arrive Aug 20th.

There is only two of us so we do econ or compact...

A few days ago I rebooked my compact car rental for next week from $107 to $76. Now the same rental is $136. Seems to be all over the map.

I just rebooked with Alamo. 4 day rental August 14th to Aug 17th 3 1/2 days $81.02 using /FL10P for 10% and BJ's $15.00 off coupon for a 4 day rental (7011645) $81.02 also includes an additional driver.
This is an intermediate car.

Get $25 off a convertible, minivan or SUV rental of 3-14 days with this printable coupon from Alamo. Valid on rentals picked up by 12/31/06 Requires a 3-day minimum, 14-day maximum rental. Blackout dates may apply.
sometimes you can save more and get a nicer car with coupon even if theres only 2 of you traveling i got a convertible cheaper than a compact because of the $25 coupon also when i use costco codes no one has ever asked me for my costco card

National is down, also. I just rebooked our intermediate emerald aisle, and it was about $90 less than when I booked it a month ago.
