I have been confirmed for the 15% discount mid-size SUV. When I did this, they just asked for my name and email address. I never gave a credit card number. I'm seeing that others that posted have prepaid and then got the 15% discount. Does this mean I haven't gotten the 15% discount? My total for 7 days was approximately $188 which I thought was an awesome rate. Is there a place on the site that I can go back and prepay with my confirmation number?

Also, I just found some coupons in my Entertainment Book that have a free day or Free upgrade. What is the better deal in this situation. Should I stick to the 15% off from the Hot Deals on the website or can I combine that with these coupons.

Can you tell I have never done this before!

I would love to prepay. One less thing to have to worry about when we go in April.

I too am fairly new to using lamo (have always been a National customer in the past), but from what I can figure out, you can use a coupon with the Prepay option. This will however prevent you from using the online check in option and you will be required to go to the counter to check in instead of going straight to the garage to pick up your car.

As for which coupon is the better deal, I would suggest trying all of the combinations to see what the best bottom line price is. You can try different options together without having to make an actual reservation.

I was on there web site yesterday too! I got a great rate for a suv 165.00 total with taxes, the car's were more expensive?! can't to go !

I went back and I can't figure out how to prepay. Where do you go to do this? Do I need to call instead? I thought it can be done online. Help!!!

On the Alamo home page, there should be an ad on the right side for Prepay, or click on the link under the section "Alamo Rental Car Specials" called "Save an additional 15% off our lowest rates! ". On the next page that appears, click on Reservations

I just went back and prepayed. My cost for the week just went from $188 to $162 for a midsize SUV. I'm so happy! This made my day.

Disney...here we come in 101 days!
