Hoping someone could help. Having tried everywhere online, I have decided to forego our Magical Express tix and rent a car. We are going Mar 9-14th at Disney, then moving to Universal until the 18th with an evening flight home. I like having the car for grocery stops, and knowing where my luggage is, etc.
Anyway, I have so far found that Alamo has the best rates for the time period of 9 days that I need.
For the prepay option, which was about the cheapest code/discount I could find, the rate was $322.00 for the 9 days and extra hours we need. There are 5 of us and luggage (2 adults/3kids) so went for the fullsize and found the premium to be larger AND cheaper.
Anyone know if this is a good deal? Anyone know how the prepay and online checkin works? It sure would be nice to bypass the counter and go directly to the lot!
Thanks all, any help is appreciated since we leave in 8 days!!!!!

imallset,

What are your exact pick-up/drop-off times? You actually need 10 days since you mentioned 'extra hours' over 9 days, correct?

Are full-size/premium the car classes you're looking for?

The pickup time is 1:30 pm on Thurs March 9 and the drop off time will be 4:30-5 pm on Saturday March 18th. The reason I went with the premium/full size is because of the kids and luggage room needed, and pricewise with the prepay option, the premium was actually cheaper. I have a large 13 year old and 9 year old twins who are small.
Any suggestions?

They were running deals on mid-size SUV's, did you check the codes on mousesavers? They have info on signing up for QS "free", will allow you to bypass MCO terminal & just stop @ garage kiosk.

IMO, prepay limits you from applying better codes that may surface closer to your date - don't think the small discount is worth it.

I am checking and doing as you said to see what the rate difference is. Thanks so much!

Ok since dh is a small business owner, that was a piece of cake to sign up. However, so far using that ID only is no discount yet, can you apply other coupons and codes together?

try using contract ID 430710 rate code by (walmart) coupon code D42C (alamo site). Those are the codes I used and I got an SUV for $230.89 for 10 days, although my dates are different 4/21-5/1. Good luck.

wow, so gracious! Thank you so very much, I really appreciate all the help and comments, cannot wait to leave this New Hampshire deep freeze!

you can use coupon code ad94 for $30 off, this will work for your dates too (use with same corp id and rate code)
