Alamo MCO Midsize Cars

Has anyone rented a mid size car through Alamo at MCO recently and what kind of cars are they using lately?

Last time we rented they had Mazda 5's - which we loved! We rent from Alamo at MCO often. They let you pick your car and it seems like they usually have bigger than mid-size cars parked there.

We rented from them last year and the year before that. We picked the HHR both times. It fits us great. They had a Kia sportage there but we passed. I've never seen anything bigger there but who knows. I'm interested in more recent trippers as well, speak up everyone.

I did not realize they let you pick your own car in the mid size lane?

We joined *********** recently. How do we get to pick any car in the aisle with Alamo? We are members of National's Emerald Aisle and all we have to do is get our luggage and pick out a car and drive it to the kiosk to process with our reservation. Any help with Alamo would be appreciated.

Pretty close to the same process.I send the wife to alamo kiosk, while i wait for luggage. She meets me we go to alamo parking grab a car drive away.

Thanks for the info! I thought that when you visited the kiosk in the terminal you were assigned a specific midsize car and had no option on what midsize car you could take?

we got a pt cruiser in April for a midsize

When we rented from Alamo at the end of April there were lots of HHRs and Calibers, there were a few Focus, PT Cruisers, and even one or two Corollas. We opted for the Caliber and it worked well for us.
