Also, can I attach a current reservation to it or need to make a new one?

Question along the same vein...I added my DH to my ressie, so in theory, we are both already listed in it...Will this work at the kiosk? Also, how many kiosks are there? I just saw this perk in my e-mail today, and lo, here's the thread, lol.

I'll try to answer all your questions...I used this back in February at MCO.

There are five self-check-in kiosks just to the left of the Alamo counter. As long as you have an existing reservation (no matter when or with whom it was made) and are a US citizen, you can use these kiosks.

You can add anything at the kiosks - additional driver, additional insurance, buy the gas option, use a coupon, upgrade the car, etc. (although I didn't personally do any of this, I remember seeing these on the various screens.)

It seems like there are a million screens and you should make sure to read them carefully so you don't overlook anything.

I loved it! I was all checked in and in the parking garage to pick out a car within 5 minutes!

We are SOOO looking forward to this for our June/July trip. No waiting in HUGE lines and not having insurance shoved done our throat. We are a little nervous about it though, since we do not rent very often. DH is "in charge" of the rental anyway, so he will figure it out alright!

Yes, it will print out your 'rental agreement' that you must pass on to the exit gate attendant.
