Alamo have charged me £60 - who do I contact?

So should we then be returning the car empty? I always did Dollar in the past and pre-paid first tank of fuel. This year Alamo - no pre-paid fuel.

If you prepay at the desk for a tank of gas then you return empty. If you agree at the desk to return to return full then there is no charge but you must double check what you sign.
What has happened here with OP is they have signed to say they will pay £60 for tank of gas but then also taken it back full.
We have always gone for Gold/Planinum option to save the hassle but August for 25 nights it adds about £100 on so doubt we will pay it.

I think I will prepay and try to return empty. I am too chicken to let it even go close though - although to MCO would be easier to judge than Sanford.

Yeah I agree Sanford wouldn't be easy but I think there's a gas station a few turns before the Airport tho (we dropped off some friends last time who didn't have a car).

MCO is easy - we just fill up at Hess before leaving DTD and that seemed to be 'full enough' for Dollar

Last time we were uncomfortably low (maybe 1/8), in the pounding rain, driving over that endless bridge near the airport. I was glad to see the Sanford signs but we were ok - still left too much in the tank really - but you never know when you take a wrong turn or get diverted!
