Got a great rate on an Alamo convertible (Chrysler Sebring) for our Feb trip and I am wondering about the trunk space. There will be 2 adults and 1 child and we are bringing 1 medium to large suitcase and 1 or 2 carry ons.

I have heard in the past that these cars have very limited trunk space.

Anybody have first hand experience?

We rented one in November. There were two of us and trunk space is very very limited.

We had fun with it, but decided if we had it to do again, we would choose the Crysler 300. We had two average pieces of luggage and a duffle. They fit but there wasn't alot of room for anything else.

I drive a convertible. None of them are known for thier trunk space. I can get two 24" suitcases and some little stuff in mine with the top UP (Mine allows the top storeage area to be diminshed if the top is up.) I actually think my trunk is a little bigger then the Sebring. (I drive the Saab) If you get a Mustang, all bets are off. The smallest trunk ever!

Depending on the size of your large suitcase it may or may not fit. (Also remember that the large suitcase cannot weigh more then 50lbs or the airlines will charge you!)
