alamo.com $15 coupon and contract codes

months ago i booked a standard suv with alamo for a great base rate, and my total was about $190 for a week (1/6-1/13). i used the walmart contract code listed on mousesavers.

today i thought i'd go in and modify my ress to add the alamo.com $15 off coupon.

has anyone done this? i know they are weird about stacking but it is their own coupon this time.

I actually went on today and booked a reservation w/discount codes & used their coupon code. I got a midsize suv for 7 days @ $157 total. good luck!

Be careful! When you make changes to an existing reservation your rate can be reset to the CURRENT rate and not the one that you originally booked. Rates change all the time, sometimes up and sometimes down. I would call Alamo and have them try to apply the coupon without changing your base rate.

i went and checked it out, it kept my original base rate of $142 for a standard suv. new rate for the week is $167.49

i was afraid i wouldn't get a 'compare' screen but you do see it before you confrim any changes.

punching those codes in right now for my dates is $178.91 for a standard suv which is still great imo! the midsize suv comes up $160.38
