Alamo.co.uk car hire questions

I have decided to cancel my car with virgin and go for a car from 10/9 til 25/9. As I arrive on 8/9 and leave on 29/9 that will leave 2 days at arrival and 4 days at the end of the holiday without a car. The rate at alamo seems good even with the gold cover which I don't think I need it has aditional drivers and a tank of petrol on top of these

I have 3 questions
1 Do you have to leave a credit card number with this firm?
2 On the alamo.com site there is the option to hire a gps system (which as a solo driver I will want) can you do this with the uk site or is it something you have to pay for in Orlando?
3 Where is the disney car hire centre and is it hard to get to?

hello there i can answer 2 of your questions as i work for alamo in the uk

1. yes you do need to leave you credit card details when you pick up you car.

2. you can not prebook the sat nav on lineyou have to ask for it at the counter or ring overseas reservations who can prebook it but not online.

the other question i have know idea as i have only been once to disney sorry.

sorry all i can is suggest you ring them and ask for a price on the central reservation number 0870 400 4562 and tell what you want, and when there get back with a price lets say £200 for the week just to keep the number easy just tell them you have had better quotes from other supplies and ask them for there best price if there come back and the price seems good book it otherwise say its stil to dear and i can get it for lets say £125 there ask you who with tell them any one like budget and see if there will match it as i work in the uk for alamo and national car rental we normal price mathch if its not to silly ,and we have a huge price range to go up and down just give it a go if not any good let me have your details and i see want i can do for you..

just to let you all know i got a full size car for 2 weeks, full insurance for £133 pounds what a deal

that goz i get staff discount but i also get friends and mates rates so i can always get a discount for you guys if you let me know what you require ok.

Go and get yourself one of Simons excellent Brits guides and that gets you a 10% discount.

The car centre is easy to get to - ring them up and they will arrange a pick up from a disney hotel or park. Location wise it is near the Magic Kingdom.

hi lee, i am very interested in your quote, there are a family of us going to florida, 8/9 return 29/9 5 adults 2 kids, we need a peoples carrier, with top insurance, additional drivers and a full tank of petrol. i have been quoted £504 for this through airline-network.co.uk ( the car hire is through dollar though) do you think this is any good? and could alamo beat it?

hello there i can get you a people carrier for them dates didnt know which airport your where flying in to so quoted for sandford internation comes out for 3 weeks with 2 addition driver 444.00 english pounds, thats with full insurance dont know if this is any good for you. ive also found hoilday autos quite cheap.
