On the plane now and we did online check in and it said that we had to go to the desk for our keys? I have a confirmation receipt with a barcode so I assume we can just go out to the garage like we always have? I didn’t know if something was different post Covid?

How did you make out? We're using Alamo on thursday and also have the confirmation with barcode to go directly to car. Did u hv to stop at desk anyway?

Pretty good! We did go straight out to the garage and we were directed to an employee. He looked at my confirmation which was for an economy, He told us we could take either of two cars that were parked near us which were actually midsized. We took a Chevy Cruise. Side note the airport was so dead at 7pm. It was crazy, we got our bags at the carousel within minutes and we were on our way.

Same experience with Alamo recently.

Went straight to the garage area, employee looked at our bar code and pointed down the aisle and said take our pick of cars. He had the keys in his drawer on the little podium he was standing by, they weren’t in the car. Super easy. I was very glad to have the direct to car option because the line inside at the desk was stout!

Don’t be like me and forget all rental car activity is currently only in Terminal A. 8-)

How was returning it? Do you have to wait at a desk to return the car? We’re doing a one way Disney World to MCO with Alamo and just realized we have no idea how much time to a lot at MCO for returning it.

It was super easy, lots of employees around at the return to scan your car, give you your receipt right there, etc. At worst you wait a minute or so if they’re busy with returns in front of you. But it’s pretty much a no brainer and only takes a few minutes, in my experience.
