I'll probably rent through Alamo as I've done that before. I've always rented through a third party site, but this time I might rent directly through Alamo(through the UK Disney site). My question is what does the all inclusive mean? Does that mean I won't have to have any extra insurance with it?

You are actually not renting directly through Alamo when you use the Disney UK site. Alamo has a UK site and I ran a mock reservation through it and it states that all the insurance is included, all taxes are included. The things not included are gas, child seats, and a few other things. Here is the site I used. http://www.alamo.co.uk/ Hope this helps.

Thanks. Seems like booking through Disney is slightly cheaper though, and you get an extra driver for free :) Not that I need that as I'm the one who'll be doing all the driving :P

Great, I would say go for it. :)

Some things to check:

Look to see if there is an excess for any of the insurance. Most UK to US inclusive rates include no excess but some may have a small excess.
Some agencies/brokers include theft waiver and roadside assistance. Check to see if this is included.
Some agencies/brokers also have packages that include Sat Nav/GPS. This can work out cheaper than renting it separately.

What's exess and why do I need that?

I looked again and found out that their option of fully inclusive + GPS is cheaper than booking through Disney and add a GPS to the reservation, but here's the list of what it covers:

Collision Damage Waiver Full
Extended Protection
Customer Facility Charge 2.50 Per Day
Airport Access Fee 10%
Tire/battery Fee .02 Per Day
Florida Surcharge 2.00 Per Day
Vehicle License Fee .69 Per Day
Sales Tax
Unlimited Mileage
Navigational system (GPS)

Excess (or deductible) is the amount of money you have to pay if you are considered at fault for an insurance claim. You do not want an excess. It does not look like Alamo have one. You might double check the terms and conditions to make sure.

Okay, thank you for clearing that up :goodvibes
