Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has officially announced that the Aladdin: Diamond Edition will be available to own digitally and on Disney Movies Anywhere on September 29, 2015, with a Blu-ray combo pack release on October 13 (now available for pre-order). No bonus features have been announced at this time.

In the heat of an enchanted city, a commoner named Aladdin and his mischievous monkey Abu battle to save the free-spirited Princess Jasmine from the schemes of the evil sorcerer Jafar. Aladdin’s whole life changes with one rub of a magic lamp as a fun-loving, shape-shifting Genie appears and grants him three wishes, setting him on an incredible journey of discovery.


The home video release will be in 1.33:1 aspect ratio and available as 7.1 DTS-HDMA / 1.0 Dolby Digital (English); 5.1 DTS-HDHR (French) & 5.1 Dolby Digital (Spanish) with English (ESL/SDH), French and Spanish
