Aladdin and Jasmine Themed Wedding

Ok, so an actual wedding at Disney world is a little outside our price range (though we're gonna try for a disneymoon), but my DH-to be and I have been discussing doing an Disney themed wedding. Our favorite movie is Aladdin. Since the very beginning of our relationship I've been his princess and he's been my diamond in the rough. So, we're trying to come up with ideas. We've got a few of our own, but I thought I'd ask the true disney experts for some of their ideas. Anything you've got, throw it out there.

Aladdin and Jasmine makes me think of the middle east- the beautiful colors, and gold accents. You should check out Lurkyloo's wedding- its amazing!

I've seen little "magic carpet" coasters for cocktail hour...or you may even be able to find a nice "magic carpet" table runner for the buffet or gift tables. For my wedding this weekend, I made my own table runners since I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. They're really not hard to make.

Not to mention that you can play up the whole "diamond in the rough" idea...lots of good wedding-ish themes from Aladdin!

Jewellery and reception decor..

I recall seeing pictures of a reception where instead of normal seats they used bean bags and huge floor cushions and tables low to the ground with hundreds of large candles. Everything was in really bold, beautiful colours, red, pink, orange and yellow, It looked amazing!!
