Yes indeed, and IIRC there were 3 or 4 choices, one of which were crickets.

My BIL said that they were refrigerated and came around when exposed to the outside air.

I know people who are the same way after they drink their first cup of coffee.

That's good to know. Thanks. I am often in need of live crickets and now I know just to keep a look out for the machine. Say, does it take bills or should I keep change handy?

I'm ashamed to say I only gave it a quick open-mouthed (nothing flew in) glance, and walked on.

I learn so many things when I visit other places. I saw my first Pringles vending machine in Sept. It looked like any Coke/Pepsi machine but it dispensed cans of Pringles, which are more appitizing to me than crickets or shad.

I think they have one of those machines in Scottsboro close to the Tennessee River. I'm scared to go in that place.

I haven't seen a Pringles dispenser machine before. Today me and this 18 month old were mesmerized at the peppermint patty dispenser machine we saw. She was dying to find a way to smash it to get some candy. I was hoping she'd find a way to get inside so I could see how it was dispensed.

Don't be silly; you have to have electricity for a vending machine!

I think they still do them the old fashioned way in Holtville/Slapout!

This was on a bona fide Federal Army Base and when looking for the picture, apparently they are nationwide.

Who'd a thunk it???
