I was wondering if anybody could help me. I'm going to be staying at the RPR and wanted to know if they have an ala cart for breakfast? A place to walk to in the resort that just sell breakfast items so we can take back to our room. Or is it better to call room service? If they do, what kind of items do they have? Thanks for helping me plan our upcoming trip.

Yes they do. On the main floor --- not the restaurant floor but the check-in floor in the Orchid Court Louge.

The Orchard Court off the lobby has individual items for sale like donuts, bagels that you can toast, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. The area has lots of sofas and chairs so most folks eat right there. Prices are what you would expect for hotel (in other words not a bargain) but it's a lot less than the restaurant. By the way, they do honor the preferred annual pass discount at the orchard court in the morning.

If we want a big breakfast, we head to the Denny's about 2 miles away.

Thanks for the input. Now I might just use that for breakfast everyday do I don't have to spend a lot of money on a full breakfast.

We just got back from Royal Pacific and had a great trip. None of the adults on our trip used the restaurant off the lobby but one morning my DD purchase a small banana and a small (8oz) container of milk for close to $5.

I don't know how everything else is priced - expensive too I would imagine. Just thought I'd throw this out there.

Enjoy your trip! Wish we were still there - expensive banana and all :).

We ate breakfast in there every day for 2 weeks.

It`s lovely and the food is very fresh, we didn`t find it expensive at all.

I think room service would be an expensive option that`s not necessary as there is plenty of tables and comfy sofas to sit on in the lounge.

We had the same thing more or less every day, DS had cereal with milk which was $3.50, I normally had a Danish which cost $2.75 and DH had a croissant with butter and honey and that was $2.75 as well.

2 coffees with free refills were $5.50,(coffee was lovely) and DS had fiji water for $3.50.

With tax we were around $18.94 each day.

Great value for us as we are not big breakfast people, and the option of the buffet breakfast downstairs at around $18 per person would not have been good value for us.

We sat in the lounge as it was generally quiet, but saw a few people taking stuff back to the rooms for the rest of their family. There are containers with lids to put the food in.

We loved our breakfast every morning, and like one of the other posters wish we were still there. :)

Don't forget CityWalk is very close and a Cinnabon makes a yummy treat for breakfast! I wouldn't eat there every morning, but once on vacation can be fun!

We are here now, and I also like the Orchid Lounge. Just wanted to add that it is very nice and pleasant in the morning in a pretty setting/atmosphere. They have a great continental selection. Going home tomorrow and will miss the Orchid lounge in the mornings.:)
