AKV value vs. standard view

So I'm going to be making a ressie for my sister and her husband, who are debating whether or not to spring for the savannah view or stick with a lesser view to save money. My question is this: Is there really a big difference between value view and standard view?

The value rooms are smaller in size and can have any view (I believe), including a Savannah view if you're lucky. Parking lot view if you're not. Lots of threads describing the values (with pictures!).

yep, "value" is not a view, it's a room size.

i stayed in one and was fortunate to get a savanna view, but that would never be guaranteed.

for two people, a value studio is still enough room. more than that and i'd suggest that it might get a little cramped.

For 2 I'd take the value and request savannah view. If they get lucky, they have it both ways. If not, no harm done as the extra space isn't that much different for 2.
