AKV Value Studio vs Concierge Studio

Wondering if the difference between a value studio and concierge studio at AKV is worth the difference. I know with both, you don't have any guaranteed savannah views, so that is not a major thing with me. And I know you get a chance to book the safari with CS.

And I plan my own dining, etc., so don't really need the concierge for that either. Are the refreshments for breakfast, snacks, and evening significant for the difference? I was thinking of munching more this time, instead of getting the new DDP, but not sure. What times of the day are refreshments available-- since we spend a lot of time in the parks also.

For 5 nights, it is a difference of 29 points, and I am not sure I really want to use that many points just for the refreshments. I could get the DDP for two I suppose.

Is the safari really good?


Any recommendations?

The actual room layout, not much of a difference.

The major difference is the Sunrise and sunset Safari, The concierge lounge and daily housekeeping/turn down service.

For a slower pace stay, I would book Concierge level. If you plan on hitting the parks every day, save your points.

well my next trip don't have enough points for concierge so it is value studio for me.

think concierge might be fun once - so you would know what it like.

I took my family on the sunrise safari two summer's ago. I felt it was well worththe expense. It is pricey since you also need park admission on top of hte cost, but we still felt it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The pictures were just beautiful and the information we learned was very good as well.
