AKV Value Studio Availability for next May?

I am a new member and I am having issues getting a password set up in the system. The IT department is supposed to be contacting me to get this resolved. What I am looking for is availability for a value studio May 10-17 next yr. If none are available, then my next choice would be a standard studio at Jambo. I would also ask for input from someone familiar with both Kidani and Jambo, as to which you would prefer in a standard view studio. This will be our 1st visit and we are thinking Jambo because of the lobby and overall view. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

May 10, 12, 14 and 16 are all still available in the value studio. Its really odd because its every other day. All dates are available in standard and savannah. Here's a link to room numbers and locations at Jambo. I've only stayed at Kidani once so I can't give my preference on views at the resorts.

Hmmm...is it possible that someone wants the full week but only has enough AKV points to book part of it so they opted to book every other day on the hopes that the random single days are still available at the 7 month mark??? Just wondering, because it is odd to have those single weeknights available like that.

That's what I was figuring too! If you do every other night then maybe no one else will book the between nights?!? That's about the only plausible explanation I can come up with. AND you wouldn't have to devote all your points to this ressie in case you change your mind?!?

No problem! Good luck! I don't know what I'd do in your shoes... Book a solid week in a standard or book the value days that are open/standard view on the opposite closed dates and then wait list those dates for the value. It would be a pain to move every other day but the difference in points may be worth it and hope and pray that AKV let's you just stay put somewhere after all or hope your wait list comes through... Tough decisions!

This is my first resie and I guess I am going to have to learn the ropes at it seems people know how to work the system.

If you are within the 11 month period from any individual check in day it can be booked as long as you have the pints. Just so you know asking for specific availability and giving it is not allowed on the boards. Your thread may be closed by a moderator because of this at some point. It is not allowed because it changes moment by moment and therefore somewhat pointless.

You can only have 2 waitlists. Since the nights are not consecutive, each would be its own waitlist.

If the issue is just your password for online, you could call and make the reservation.
