AKV Studio?

We originally booked for Feb. a value studio at AKV and were given a dedicated studio. Last couple of weeks we upgraded to a standard studio and were given a lock off.

Question: What is the difference between a dedicated and lock off? Is it just the door that leads to the 1BR or something else? And, since we are in a standard, shouldn't we have a sleeper chair???

Well, from the map that has been shown here, by having a dedicated value studio, you were definitely not going to have a parking lot view. With the standard, you're going to have a pool view, which people have been happy with. Yes, you will have the sleeper chair.

I think only the one bedroom and larger have the sleeper chair. With a studio you will still only have a queen sized bed and a double sleeper sofa, just a bit more room in the standard studio vs the value studio.

Most (but not all) of the dedicated studios have a small broom closet where the connecting door would have been. So the vacuum cleaner and ironing board will be in that closet instead of occupying half of the wardrobe unit. There may also be a bit of room in that broom closet to hang up some of your clothes but I'm not certain about that. Due to some things they had to work around during the conversion, not all of the dedicated studios have the closet.

The sleeper chair is only in the 1BRs, not the studios. It is in all of the 1BRs, even the Value 1BRs. In the Values, there isn't enough room to open both the sleeper chair and the sleeper sofa so you can only use one or the other, not both. As a result, the occupancy of the Value 1BRs is four. The larger 1BRs in AKV allow you to use both so the occupancy of those 1BRs is five.
