It's been a while since I've stayed in a standard size (non-value) studio at AKV so help me out...

Is there anywhere to fit a twin air mattress with the sofa bed pulled out? I'm thinking about bringing one since they are on sale at Wal-Mart right now, but if it won't fit anyways, the point is moot. We can just toss it on the bed during the day for "storage" so I'm not worried about that. I just can't remember how much width there is between the foot of the bed and the night stand, or the space between the end of the sofa bed and the table. I also don't want to block the bathroom hallway completely, but if that area is wide enough, I suppose that would work.

Has anyone done this?

It has been a while since we stayed in a Jambo house studio, but I would think there would be room in the hallway leading to the door. In our studio, there would not have been enough room to put one between the sofa bed and the sliding door, or between the bed and the armoire.

You might could move the coffee table by the sliding door and put the mattress between the sofa bed and the wall.

We stayed in a concierge studio, and it was pretty tiny. We only had 2 guests, so it was fine for us.

Don’t know about Jambo, but we got a twin air mattress in between the bed and pull out at kidani. It was tight, but we got it.

I’m sitting in a studio at Kidani with the sofa pulled out as I type this. I have no idea how or where you could fit a twin-sized air mattress.

I got up and walked around. Maybe if you put it at the foot of the bed, but then you would t be able to get to the sofa bed without climbing over everything.

Do you think it would fit lengthwise in the area between the kitchenette and the bathroom vanity? Kind of "across the entry"? I can't even picture if that space is wide enough or long enough for an air mattress.

I'm trying to think if there would be room for a person to walk around it to access the toilet in the middle of the night, if needed. It would probably be me that sleeps on the air mattress since I am the one that 1) gets up the earliest and 2) gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, so it would be up and out of the way by the time everyone is up for the day. I slept on the sleeper sofa in our value studio last October and it was awful. I had to sleep diagonally and my hips were so sore every morning. My feet were always lower than the rest of my body so I was always at some weird angle, unless I was flat on my back. I would have preferred an air mattress after one night on that bed.

I'm not too worried about space to move around within the room once the air mattress is set up because it will only be in use while we are sleeping. Once we are in bed, nobody is going to be up and about anyways...at least they'd better not be! I am more concerned about if there is actual floor space to set it up.

I can tell you my brother and his family managed it in a Value Studio, but I cannot tell you where he put it. My brother sleeps on the air mattress.

We recently stayed in a studio at Jambo and there were four adults and I had a scooter. We put the scooter near the kitchen area and it was not in the way of the bath. There was still room near the entry door, I think it should be ok, but it will be tight. I would never do four adults in a studio again. I had no choice since no 1 bedrooms were available
