AKV Room Service??

I was wondering if anyone knows if AKV has room service? I know when we stayed in AKL we liked getting breakfast in our room. I wasn't sure if they were offering the same service for AKV rooms and if it was going to be available in the new building as well. Any help would be great.

If the hotel has it, the villas have it.

I was just reading something that mentioned 24 hour room service at AKL/V...don't remember where I saw it though!

That's a difference between AKV, BCV, VWL, BWV (attached to a deluxe resort) and the standalone DVC resorts (OKW and SSR) -- you get room service.

I hope there will be room service in the new building as well! I love to have that option.
When we stayed at Disney's Vero Beach they had room service and they really pulled out all the works for you. They put a table cloth on your table and brought flowers. It was really nice.

There should be room service in the new building too, because it will have its own restaurant. There hasn't really been any word about that yet. Frankly, I'm not a lover of room service. I'd much rather prepare my meals the way I want unless I am going out.

We've been told that Kidani Village will have room service too. It is important to us. We don't use it every trip but when we need it, I sure appreciate it.

However, it has not been 24/7 at AKL. The only resort that still offered 24/7 was the GF last I knew. It would be great if the other deluxe resorts started offering it 24/7 again. If the WDW resorts really want to be "deluxe" they should offer that amenity IMO. In the past, they did.
