Hi all,
Our large group of 10 will be staying in a 2 bedroom standard view and a savannah view studio in October. Can anyone suggest a room recommendation so that we may be close to each other?

If you haven't done so already, you should contact MS and have a Travel With noted on both reservations. This will alert the room assigner to try and place the rooms as near to each other as possible.

Make "near to [insert other family's reservation #]" your only request and have them do the same. You're less likely to be near each other if you make additional requests.

MS = Member Services

If you're an owner, you can call to make the room request. If you're a renter, the owner who sold you the reservation needs to call.

Requests can be submitted via email from the member website, chat on the member website, or calling MS. In any case, the owner has to do it.

We rented points and are in Kidani.

Then you need to contact the owner(s) you rented from to have the request noted on the reservations.

Any request for room locations that you make should be made through the owner who puts it into Member Services. Also, when you do online check-in before going, there is a request page offered when doing it. Once the owner has made any requests through MS, you should avoid entirely that online request page because using it to make a request will wipe out the request made through MS. Moreover, some of the requests offered on that online request page are ridiculous. For example, you can request near "an elevator" on that page. But there are three separate elevators spread out over each of the two wings of Kidani and that near elevator request can result in being put in any room in the building

We rented points and are in Kidani.

Although all one building, Kidani has very long hallways & several stories, I’d ask the owner or owners to note ‘traveling with’ the other party’s name & reservation number on both reservations. Ideally you’d end up on the same floor across the hallway from each other.

Generally w/ a few exceptions the villas facing east on the map are savanna view and the villas facing west on the map are standard view.
