I believe add-ons are at $101/pt. New member contracts are at $104/pt with either the option of developer points or an $8/pt credit (resulting in $96/pt overall).

If you take the developer points (a one time use of the same number of points you are purchasing) you do not get the $discount per point. The developer points must be used within 7 months or you lose them. I also think there is some rule that you cannot use them at AKV but am not certain about that. It may have only applied to those who bought in the first month or two since their 7 months would be up before AKV are available.

We just bought our first contract at AKV last week. We have a March UY and had the option of either developer points or the $8 discount.

The developer points are basically "free" points equal to the amount of points you are buying. You get to use them immediately and they expire in 7 months. Like in our case, if you bought a 200pt contract (with a March UY) and also took the developer points you would essentially have 400pts to use immediately (200 developer points + 200 points from your 2007 allotment).

I think since they will now have some DVC units available at AKV in July they don't have the developer point restriction anymore.
