AKV Laundry Questions

I just down/upgraded from a 5-night stay in a 1-bdrm to an 8-night stay in a studio. It dawned on me that I was going to pay $500 just to have a washer/dryer!

Anyhoo, now I gotta get my clothes clean another way. Three questions: how are the laundry facilities at AKV? how is the laundry service? do the studios have the nifty clothesline in the shower? I used this line at my 1-bdrm in SSR and would love to use it again for underwear and socks.

yes the clothesline is in the tub/shower combination.

there is free laundry mat - near room 5408 - so still bring detergent and fabric softernor (or get them from wegoshop.com)

which did you get savannah, standard or value?

love the value and standard - although there is quite a different in room space between them.

have yet to try savannah.

I'm not a DVC member - yet. So, the free laundry is probably off-limits to me. But, at least I can use the clothesline!

Just got back from a short trip to SSR 1-bdroom. Loved it! Beautiful and quiet.
