The wait is killing me...this resort needs to open NOW!

so are they DOING anything for Grand opening?
anyone hear if they are doing anything special? balloons? Kissed by Mickey a Giraffe? Doing Anything special?

I had heard for opening day they're building us an entire building and filling the savanna with animals. Do they need to do anything above and beyond this? My thoughts: no - I'll just be happy to be there. (July for us)

and I also was sitting here thinking those of us there opening day, maybe we could do something like the lime green Mickey or something so we know folks from the board? I suggest putting our avatar names on them, help with recognition?

That's a thought - people on other boards do this all the time. You might want to start a "Who will be at AKV opening day" thread. Get together and have a party of your own

If we weren't planning most of our time at Epcot during our trip in Oct., I would be on the phone! Wow ... how very exciting!
